A young, yet wise beyond her years woman. She's known for her motherly, timid and gentle demeneaor. She fled Garlemald during her teen years, preferring to not speak about this chapter of her life. First a member of the Thaumaturge's guild in Ul'dah, she eventually joins the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.
Her knowledge and skills in the art of summoning and taming primals is unmatched, yet this came with a high price.
Rendered blind and weak, Kyoko now is forced into retirement, yet she remains a force to be reckoned with.

⇣ The Scions of the Seventh Dawn ⇣⤑ Estinien Varlineau - lovers. Truth be told she couldn't stand him until she spent more time with him post Heavensward. While his stray cat behaviour is "off-putting" to her, she appreciates the moments when he finally does come home.
⤑ Thancred Waters - best friend and drink buddy, he makes sure she stays out of trouble when they're hitting bars together
⤑ Urianger Augurelt - 2nd best friend. Kyo often seeks his advise, holding his opinions and views high in regard.
⤑ Alphinaud and Alisaie Leveilleur - her adopted children. You look at them the wrong way and she's going mama bear on you. She adores and dotes on them, acting like their "on the road mother".
⤑ Tataru Taru - close friend. When her eyes were still intact, Kyo loved sitting together with her, chatting about everything and nothing as they were sewing new garments together. Nowadays she likes to keep Tataru still company when she does that.
⤑ Y'shtola Rhul - mutual respect, but not much beyond it.
⤑ G'raha Tia - close friend and study buddy.
⤑ Krile Maya Baldesion - mutual respect, but not much beyond it.
⤑ Lyse Hext - mutual respect, but not much beyond it. Kyo tries to avoid her due to her Ala Mhigan heritage.⇣ Ishgardians ⇣
⤑ House de Fortemps - she highly respects the family members of House de Fortemps, and even though she along with the other Scions is considered close friends, she's never viewed them as such due to not being present during the Dragonsong War events. She wishes to be closer to them, though.⇣ Garleans and Garlemald ⇣
Due to her history with this country, Kyo is well-versed with all of the more important figures in her country of origin. She's still highly patriotic towards her home, always saying that it wasn't the country that betrayed her, but her leaders.
She stills holds all the higher ranks in high regards, still viewing herself as subordinate in comparison to them.

34 summers old | ♀️ | Seeker of the sun Miqo'te | ReaperTaken as a child to the mines of Lapis Manalis, Kyoko had been tricked into summoning a Voidsent - Kamui. The data sampled with her experiments would later be of welcomed knowledge to Lord Zenos himself.
With Kamui's help and her own skills, she quickly climbed the ranks within the Garlean army, bringing glory to the house of Windurst.Kyoko isn't known to the common Garlean soldier, being hidden away in a special mission's unit. She's sent to missions the normal soldier wouldn't be able to execute and the Legaslatus have no time to commit time to themselves. As such, she has multiple run-ins with the Warrior of Light until she eventually switches sides to restore Garlemald to her old self.Despite her purpose and work, Kyo appears to be a gentle soul towards allies, friends and family, and an obedient dog to any Garlean that outranks her. Orders will be followed without much thought given if she respects you."For when I draw my scythe I am but an instrument."

⇣ Garlemald and her people ⇣
⤑ Emperor Solus / Emet-Selch - her patriotism blinds Kyo, making her follow his every order, no matter what it is. She finds herself drawn to the man that fathered her home, wishing to be of any use to him, or maybe more than just a pawn in a game she doesn't fully understand.⤑ Any Legatus - any man and woman that outranks Kyo receives her utmost loyalty and respect.⤑ Soldiers and commoners - Kyo keeps her distance to those, mostly just because she doesn't know how to handle herself in any social situation.⇣ The Warrior of Light and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn ⇣⤑ Enemies to allies, she highly respects them and eventually starts to form shallow bonds with them. She seems to be closest to the twins, however.

Kyo is an actress and songstress, a rising star in the theatre scene. Her career is cut short by the war, however, causing her to having to cosy up with the higher ranked Garlean soldiers to ensure her own survival in this new world the little songbird finds herself in.
